Bedtime Smiles
Absenteeism Explained
I know that there is happiness available every day, most of it requiring me to stay home. I don't want to miss his smiles and laughters, his smell, his touch. I won't let a day pass by without me kissing this adorable boy who, for the life of me, has been the reason of many days of being absent at work. What the heck! What is a memo compared with fun and exciting memories with my son? No further explanation needed.

Sunshiny Day
This is Vien almost naked. These photos were taken last month (he was 8 months old). The heat inside our house was unbearable. Times like this, we take off his shirt and lodge outside the house (but not beyond our gate of course). This was one of our many lazy days. I love it!
I Am OK
The two most important men in my life are in the pink of health, happy, and having fun. They seem to be enjoying life to the fullest. My man and my little boy are sharing good times together. What more can I ask for?

First Swimming Experience
Vien wasn't sure about the water at first, but he ended up loving it. He stayed in the pool for about 30 minutes. We didn't allow him to stay longer. I was a afraid he might get sunburn. We were totally surprised he enjoyed the water so much. I also did see how thrilled he was while "surfing" with his father. The fun ended in the afternoon. We went home tired but happy.
The Thing With Teething
... is that it feels so itchy that Vien wanted to bite almost anything! He looked quite frustrated here but adorable nevertheless :)

Random Toys
Vien was 7 months here
Whatever he can get his hands on... His toys could be anything. He plays by his own rules, anytime, anywhere, anyhow. This young boy is actually not quite difficult to care for. His needs are simple -- love and attention, lots of both really. That is not hard to give when he is this so cute :)

A "Grin" Day
We used to bring Vien to the mall and carry him all around the whole time we were there. Surprisingly, the first time we brought a stroller with us, he had a great time sitting all alone in his stroller while we roam around inside the mall. Without a doubt, he enjoyed our malling; he loved what he saw and looked pretty much content despite the strap around his belly. Being restricted is not his thing, but he didn’t mind that. I’m so proud of him.
By the way, at the age of 8 months (when these photos were taken), my little guy already had 3 teeth. His smile was so cute with those pearly white teeth, especially cuter with one tooth on the upper gum. I know you all would agree, wouldn't you?

Father and Son Bonding
Vien was 2 months old in these photos
It is my constant delight to see Vien playing with his father. I envision them biking together in the park, fishing in the lake, or playing tennis or badminton. Their bonding moments are different from mine with my baby boy. Different in a sense that I couldn’t utterly describe it, for luck of appropriate words to attach to what I see. But one thing I do know, they look great together and will do more wonderful things with each other in the future. I hope they would be best buddies as Vien grows old. That is my prayer. That is what will be.
