My Own Superhero

Ever since my mag-ama have watched Superman Returns, my son has never forgotten this very buffed super hero. And so we bought a Superman toy for him. Remember this post? Yup folks, it's official! Superman is Vien's fave character so far. Ok, one of the few ones hehe... He also likes Lightning McQueen of Pixar's Cars pala. But nah, Superman tops in the list, at least that's what I've been seeing.

He loves to "fly" Superman with matching sound effects - vvvvoooommm! Not to mention some splashes of laway from here and there hehehe...

Even his blanket with Superman print doesn't go unnoticed =)

So we decided to go to the mall and find him a Superman shirt. Alas!

Hay... my heart is full of love for this little dude. He is showing a personality that kinda resembles that of his father. And sometimes, I see a little me in him. It's amazing to witness a human being unfolds little by little, knowing that this little human being came from you. My own little superhero. He saves my every day.

Just Because

I am at a loss as to what I would do without this boy's cute antics and healthy dose of laughter every single day. He is the high point of each day for me, from morning till evening.

Badminton Anyone?

My baby boy was ecstatic to play with his father’s badminton racket. He wanted to ride on it, chew the string, and push-pull it. I wonder if he would ever like to play the game in the future. I sure hope so. I would be his first partner in mixed doubles entry. How thrilling!!!

Bedtime Smiles

"A baby's smile can take away all the day's tension off a person." Whoever said this, I'm sure, is a mother.

Good Times and Bad Times

There are times I feel like I am a child with a child of my own. My life has been scarred by the fact that I didn't know how to be a mother because I had grown up without one. Everyday with Vien teaches me lessons of life, of being a parent, of being a woman. There are ups and downs, tears and laughters. I know this journey is long and tiring, fulfilling and exciting. My daily doze of energy is Vien. As long as there is him, there is me, eagerly willing to brave anything this life has to offer.

One Boring Night...

This innocent looking little boy gives me so much joy. Adorable and exhausting. Amusing and frustrating. He is all of these. My life turns into one big adventure on the day he first arrived. No boring day could ever be lasting when he is at my side.

Vien was 6 months old when these photos were taken.
