Tiggerrrrr's Trrrrrick or Trrrrrreat

Oh hello there! I've been busy with a lot of things (Facebook!) lately that I (intentionally) forgot to update this blog. I've been lag way way behind already! Guess when the pictures were taken? October 31, 2009!!!

Yup. About a month ago, my baby and I attended a Trick or Treat party at SPi Compound, Paranaque City, where I've been working (un)fortunately for the past 100 years! Haha that's how long already.

Back to the party. Vien was Tigger! Isn't already obvious? Haha. He was so scary cute, no? I love his costume for a very cheap price bought by (who else?) me at Market Market, Global City. I bought that outfit out of impulse! The very second I've confirmed from my hubby that our trip to Bicol was cancelled, we hurriedly went to Market Market to buy Vien a costume. Good thing, the mall was jampacked with halloween costumes and it was no sweat looking for one. Voila! My little man was little Tigger!

at home ... errr a tiger with a sword? sooo scary! :p
now at the party, still feeling at home because of the puzzle mat! he loves it!

look how excited he was upon seeing the mat!

with his newest ka-tropa!

aww! this is too cute for me!

My little Tigger had fun fun fun!!! I enjoyed it, too. We will definitely be back next year! Hmmm... already thinking of his costume next halloween! It would be something "human", for a change! Eksayting!

Ondoy, Ondoy, Go Away!

Vien was enjoying the trickling of the rain water in front of our house.

We were taking advantage of the "cool weather" and just happy cuddling in the comforts of our bed, obviously oblivious of the "danger" the storm would bring as darkness creeped in.

The water surprisingly rose up and we started to get panic because this had not happened before... I mean the rising up was a bit fast and the rain had not stopped until before midnight. And yet before midnight indeed, the rain ceased from pouring. Thank God!

Just Because

I am at a loss as to what I would do without this boy's cute antics and healthy dose of laughter every single day. He is the high point of each day for me, from morning till evening.

Introducing ... Fluffy!

Fluffy is Vien's newest friend. He kisses him (yes he's a male!) almost every day. He talks to him in French (lol!), or something that sounds like that. Thanks to Ninang Cleo for this furry gift. Vien loves it!

Freebies from Shakey's were flowing on the day of the party. Giant pizza, 10 boxes of manager's choice pizza, lootbags, and dance showdown by Captain Shakey's. This was because they wanted us to "forgive" them from making venue changes just few days before the event (read the whole story in my other blog).

Babies Rule!

The party was also attended by a gang of cute babies. They were not able to participate in the games, but they made their way to be noticed as well. Adorable, aren't they?

Birthday Cake and Cupcakes

Thank you Rico and RJ for making these lovely cake and cupcakes.

Happy Birthday Vien!!!

We celebrated Vien's first birthday at Shakey's, Domestic Branch, Pasay City, last sunday, July 26. Despite the heavy rain, the venue was jampacked with family and friends. It was indeed a happy and enjoyable party. Thank you to all of you who, in one way or another, contributed to the success of my son's special day. Till next birthdays, folks!

From Standing to Walking

Malling is getting easier for us because Vien has learned to stand and walk unaided, and so we don't need to carry him all the time.

We also tried out some clothes on him, which he enjoyed so much, thanks to the mirrors. He loves seeing his own reflections :)

And here is Vien "window shopping".
