What happened in August? =)

A lot! =) August was filled with faries, mickey mouse, rides, and many fun activities. I love August!

Company Bowling Tourney held at Robinson's Galleria, Manila:

Czymon's first birthday party at Dazo Hall, Las Pinas:

Anaiah's first birthday fairy party at Pixie Forest, Alabang Festival Mall:

So much fun!!!

We really had an awesome month. Vien was able to see Jollibee during Anaiah's party. He loves Jabee! During my apo's birthday party naman (yes I'm already a lola!), my son had a great time bonding with his pretty cousins, titos and titas. I love that the photographer was able to capture Vien being carried by my Kuya, a rare precious moment, indeed! :)

Badminton Night With Vien

Saturday night is Badminton night! As much as I want to show to the world pictures of my kick-ass moves and smashing shots (yeah right!), this blog restraints me from doing so. Too bad, noh? Hehe... But let me show you instead my son's love for the game, atleast from what I see with these pictures!

OK. Here goes what really happened. My yaya deserted me so I was left with no choice but bring my son to the badminton court. My Saturday night isn't complete without me playing badminton, for dang's sake! =D
I was so happy to see him running around the court and playing with my racquet. I sure hope that, when he's old enough to really play the game, he will learn to love it too.

Birthday Fun

Unlike last year's celebration, we opted to make Vien's 2nd birthday as simple as possible. We decided to go to Ark Avilon Zoo and Fun Ranch located in Pasig City. Needless to say, we had a blast! :)

Ark Avilon Zoo's entrance facade

Two giant rats welcomed us =D

These animals are out of their cages. Yes, they are "free" so we can touch them.

Vien was able to feed the fish! Bravo anak! :)
\
There's also a mini-bridge where kids can run to and fro. Underneath the bridge are some aquatic animals and crocodiles! There are some ducks, pelicans, and other birds around as well. Cool!

There's an area where kids can feed some animals like rabbits and goats

My favorite place! This is an area where kids can play while the parents take some rest.

Now let's go to Fun Ranch! Weeeeeee! :)

We had our dinner at Teriyaki Boy. Bento for me! :)

We never had as much fun as we had this day! We love to go back to this place. It made me so happy to see my son having a time of his life. We're gonna have more fun next time! :)

June happenings

We tried Max's "chicken-all-you-can" promo. Vien didn't enjoy the whole idea, but his father did! :) Fortunately, we brought along "Superman" to keep our little dude busy while we we're happily participating in the chicken massacre of the century (lol!).

============
My husband's brother and his daughter who have been living in Australia visited our beloved country. They organized a family swimming gathering. I wasn't able to take photos of Vien wearing his skimpy (read: napagliitan) trunks. but I'm telling you folks, he's grown so big!

Mother's Day at the Manila Ocean Park

It's my special day! And we spent it at the Manila Ocean Park, just behind Quirino Grandstand in Luneta, Manila City.

Before we went inside the Oceanarium, we stopped by at the deck to have an "EMO" sunset moment :P

We also did some window shopping. Yes, the place has a mall! My son particularly loved the shop with lots of animal stuff toys.

Now inside the Oceanarium.

Hay, twas a tiring but enjoyable day! To end our adventure, and also to quench our thirst and feed our stomach, we went to Iceberg's for our last pit stop.

Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there! :)
