Badminton Night With Vien

Saturday night is Badminton night! As much as I want to show to the world pictures of my kick-ass moves and smashing shots (yeah right!), this blog restraints me from doing so. Too bad, noh? Hehe... But let me show you instead my son's love for the game, atleast from what I see with these pictures!

OK. Here goes what really happened. My yaya deserted me so I was left with no choice but bring my son to the badminton court. My Saturday night isn't complete without me playing badminton, for dang's sake! =D
I was so happy to see him running around the court and playing with my racquet. I sure hope that, when he's old enough to really play the game, he will learn to love it too.

Badminton Anyone?

My baby boy was ecstatic to play with his father’s badminton racket. He wanted to ride on it, chew the string, and push-pull it. I wonder if he would ever like to play the game in the future. I sure hope so. I would be his first partner in mixed doubles entry. How thrilling!!!

Absenteeism Explained

I know that there is happiness available every day, most of it requiring me to stay home. I don't want to miss his smiles and laughters, his smell, his touch. I won't let a day pass by without me kissing this adorable boy who, for the life of me, has been the reason of many days of being absent at work. What the heck! What is a memo compared with fun and exciting memories with my son? No further explanation needed.

Random Toys

Vien was 7 months here
Whatever he can get his hands on... His toys could be anything. He plays by his own rules, anytime, anywhere, anyhow. This young boy is actually not quite difficult to care for. His needs are simple -- love and attention, lots of both really. That is not hard to give when he is this so cute :)

Father and Son Bonding

Vien was 2 months old in these photos

It is my constant delight to see Vien playing with his father. I envision them biking together in the park, fishing in the lake, or playing tennis or badminton. Their bonding moments are different from mine with my baby boy. Different in a sense that I couldn’t utterly describe it, for luck of appropriate words to attach to what I see. But one thing I do know, they look great together and will do more wonderful things with each other in the future. I hope they would be best buddies as Vien grows old. That is my prayer. That is what will be.

He got balls!

Dazzling dazzling colorful balls!

One fine day, we went to a nearby mall and found these balls. One hundred colorful balls neatly cramped in one small plastic bag. We bought it at once for we know he'd be thrilled to play with it. His happiness over all things, mine included.
